In the morning of Feast Day Two we catch the soldiers returning --- Missing Image 43

The Feast is a Non-Profit operation, with most of the workers and enactors being volunteers. All proceeds collected --- Missing Image 47

go to Port Huron Museum, including that from Larry's Black Pot Bean Soup food booth, --- Missing Image 49

Sharon's Chicken Noodle Soup food booth, and Rock's Celtic Inn food booth (shown earlier). --- Missing Image 51

There is always lots happening --- Missing Image 53

and plenty to see, all day long at the Feast. --- Missing Image 55

After listening to some beautiful flute music, we head down the hill --- Missing Image 57

to the Fur Traders camp. Here you should talk to the enactors as they will be glad --- Missing Image 59

to explain about fur collecting and trading as it was in the early days here in the Blue Water area. --- Missing Image 61

We also find more music, settlers, and --- Missing Image 63

blacksmiths actually working hot iron down into useful gadgets. --- Missing Image 65

The important thing is to talk to the enactors, --- Missing Image 67

they all have a story to tell, and love telling it - even the Native American Indians. --- Missing Image 69

Leaving the Fur Traders Camp, on the South end of the park, we come to the Stone Gate --- Missing Image 71

and head back up the hill to the nerve center of the Feast - in the "Feast Commissary" (the water works building). --- Missing Image 73

Here we find Patsy preparing pretzles for the street vendors (and visiting with Rose), --- Missing Image 75

Denise getting more bread for her street vendors, Rachel cutting hot dog buns, --- Missing Image 77

Larry checking on the Bean soup, and Steve (the museum director) counting money. --- Missing Image 79

Outside we find Mary selling cookies, hot dogs, and bean soup, and some of our bean soup booth staff. ---
