--- Ten of us went - we all took a van from Port Huron to the airport --- The first 2 days were at sea, so after settling into our cabins, we simply relaxed and enjoyed the ship. --- This ship, the Carnival Legend was brand new, and there were lots of things to occupy our time. --- Our first stop was St Maarten, a bueautiful island with two distinct cultures (and countries). --- The towns and shopping were neat and clean, the beaches - WHOA, can you tell whats missing in the above picture? --- We got a van-taxi and had a 3 hour guided tour of both sides of this beautiful island. --- The next day our ship visited Barbados where there was a tourist shopping mall right at the peir. --- We got another cab-van and saw some of the sights, including a very exclusive golf course. --- Our driver then took us up to the famous caves of this island, --- where we boarded a tram for a spectacular ride through them. --- Later, back at the pier, we found some more shops, then went back to the ship. --- Martinque was our next port of call, where we walked the few blocks to the bazaar --- and to the town, while some of the others took a cab to the beach. --- The last 2 days at sea included Formal night - the time to dress up on the ship. --- Our table waiter. Just outside the dining room soft music is provided for those waiting te enter. --- During those last 2 days we swam, we shopped, --- we went to the Gala Midnight Buffet, and we just sat around and talked or played cards. --- All too soon, the end of our cruise and back home again. ....
